BRIDGING CULTURES, OPENING HEARTS

A LIFE IN SERVICE TO PEOPLE + PLANET

Līlā (Leela) Lolling is a classical trained yoga instructor, yoga therapist, and author of Walking the Ancient Path of Yoga, a study guide for yoga teachers and practitioners. Lila has over 20 years of monastic education and teaching experience. She has studied Advaita Vedanta philosophy through the Saraswati lineage. Her Guru is Swami Sivananda (1887-1963). Her teachers include Vedic scholar Prem Sadasivananda and numerous Swamis (monks) from the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres.

Lila has owned three yoga studios, and in 2008 founded DeafYoga Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, which in 2019 suspended services. Lila also addressed the world's dignitaries at the United Nation's International Day of Yoga, on the topic of Yoga for Peace.

She currently serves as a board member of Hope Springs Institute, a nonprofit spiritual retreat center in Appalachian Ohio.

Her life is a soulful dedication to sharing the yogic wisdoms she gathered while living and studying on traditional yoga ashrams. She is committed to living a life that aligns with a collective vision of peace, love, and climate actions, as we usher in a new paradigm for living.

TEACHING PRINCIPLES + POINTS OF FOCUS

MY FOUR DIRECTIONS

4 Elements

EAST

WISDOM

Ancient Yoga includes many branches of knowledge; philosophy, psychology, spirituality, ecology, medicine, numerology, and more. When you embody these wisdoms, you are empowered to be agent for positive, innovative change. You become the medicine the world needs.

REVERENCE

Living with a sense of awe, wonder, and deep gratitude offers many benefits. Reverence is the essence of living a heart-centered life, which brings presence, authenticity, connection, and love into daily life. Reverence is living with the attitude that all life is sacred.

NORTH

REWILDING

Usually used to describe placement of a wild species back into their natural environment, rewilding here is meant for humans. We spend 93% of life indoors and an average of 8+ hours a day on a device. We have been striped from our natural habitat and live an artificial, domesticated life. Rewilding is a return home, a process that reconnects you with the natural world.

WEST

CHANGE

The heart of Lila's teachings is transformation. She advocates for ongoing personal + planetary refinement. Her lineage-rooted, earth-honoring content, stimulates growth inside-out. Nature is always changing. And so are we. Let's blossom into a flower of optimism, joy, unity, and transformation.

SOUTH

A Yoga Practitioner's Experience:

"After working with Lila, my sense of self is much clearer. I feel more present and aware. Lila is a truly incredible being with so much passion. Her ability to share her teachings is like no other."
