In The beginning of a new habit there’s always lots of excitement and motivation (rajoguna). There may also be resistance and lack of motivation (tamoguna). Therefore use this as a space to promote and celebrate your dedication + any challenges that may surface. It’s an open, nonjudgmental space for support; wherever you are on the dedication spectrum. 💜🤟🏽🥰

Om beautiful souls,
So inspiring to see you persevere :) I have been travelling and couldn't practice every day. I have 3 days down this week.
Also I have changed the order in my teaching. I usually begin the class with relaxation and pranayama followed by sun salutations. I have changed the order this week to finish with pranayama and relaxation. It is a different experience for the students!

I started last Saturday with 30-30-45 Kaplabhati, and 3:12:6 Analoma Viloma. Same again on Sunday. Monday and today, I did 30-45-45 and Analog Viloma (3:12:6). I also did 1 round of Sun Salutation because of my right leg was hurting. 2 rounds of Sun Salutation on Sunday, and 3 rounds on Monday & Today. My right leg is getting a lit bit better. I feel better overall so far.
Yay! Stay motivated Devi and do what you can when you can. The accountability folder is here if you need to post. The group will cheer you on whoever posts here. :)
Hello All,
I did pranayama on March 1st, 3rd-7th. 3-6-6 (Anuloma Violma). I have not done Kalpabhati yet.
3-5 rounds of sun salutations and my favorite asanas: shoulder stand, fish, and pigeon.
It has been an adjustment to get up earlier to do the pranayama, but it feels good. I look back to TTC and how pranayama made me feel. It's definitely a motivation to rebuild my ability to do longer rounds of both kriyas.
Just checking in. I intended on doing the pranayama practice twice today but alas . . . I only got to it this morning.🙄
I very much enjoy doing pranayama after asana and before meditation because it gives me the opportunity to really sit with the feeling and observe its effects.
Practice was lovely this morning.
I hope everyone had a good day.❤️
Yay sis those are epic days for you! So proud!! Keep it up! 😍🙏🏼💜
Om Everyone, Day 1 in the books. ✅ I feel at peace and am very aware of my body’s energy. Have a peaceful rest of the day.🙏
Day 2️⃣ in the books for me! I practiced around the same time both days - during the afternoon 5/530/6 pm est. I did 3 rounds of sun salutations before sitting for pranayama. I also went on a walk today earlier in the day 🌞 both days I did 30-45-60 for kapalabhati and for anuloma viloma I did 3:6:6 yesterday and 3:12:6 today. Going to have to keep this momentum going because I tend to be consistently inconsistent! Thankful for the accountability and support group! I forgot to mention while doing AV I had an email ping in while I was holding my retention and omg I could feel the tension all over my mind and body because of that 😐 Have a good weekend all. See you on the web or in Zoom next week!

Yesterday and today I had pretty good pranayama practices. I set my alarm for 1/2 hour earlier than usual, so I was up at 5 instead of 5:30 am. Did my Sun Saluations (only 3), breathing exericises, savasana and then a mediation. It took in 45 min in total. I was surprised it took that long, but it went kinda fast. I feel good. Just miss my coffee!!! lol. I'm treating myself to a massage after work, to thank my body for the work it did this week adjusting to my healthier eating lifestyle, also to take my mind off of wanting a glass of wine on a friday night!!! lol
