Are you noticing some resistance to do the daily practice? Or perhaps you’ve been practicing and noticing a little spiritual kick back from the practices?
You’re likely not alone!
it’s not uncommon for there to be a little resistance when purifying or starting a new habit. It takes time to develop. Also it’s sometimes difficult to stay committed to the lifestyle that must accompany a daily pranayama practice.
Know that the resistance is likely due to the tamoguna (heaviness) being burned up from the influx of pranic light. As it burns away and your frequency becomes more light, it can feel new and unknown. You may be used to the heaviness and so as the lightness comes, your psyche creates ways to bring the heaviness back, because that’s what it’s used to.
From a rajasic persoective, the same can be true. Perhaps you are used to the anxiety/high energy of rajoguna. It may be difficult to embody the calm of the peace. the practice creates..
My point...changing your vibe can take some time to fully embody. But in the interim remember vairsgya, non attachment. allow the energy to be what it is, while staying committed. Remain as the silent witness to the changes of energy. After all the only constant in life is change and Prana is much like the changing ways of the wind.
You’ve got this! Believe in your power to transform from the inside, out.
